The basic provisions of commercial law are contained in the Commercial Code, which consists of 5 books. It first defines the class of people governed by its provisions.
Thereafter it deals with the different types of business entity, books of account, commercial transactions between professional business people, and shipping law.
The law on joint undertakings includes and structures the law relating to private assocaitions,  large business structure and also various types of organization outside of the commercial sphere.
